Tampa Bay gets 7–12 named tropical events per season. Branches, palm fronds, displaced mulch, scattered debris — left on turf for 3–5+ days, anything underneath dies.
Brandon’s oak and maple leaf drop peaks October–December. A heavy canopy property loses turf to suffocation if leaves sit too long.
Clogged gutters cause water damage and breed mosquitoes in Florida’s wet climate. Twice-yearly cleaning is cheap insurance against major repairs.
Spring and fall cleanups reset your beds, edges, and shrub shaping in a single visit. The fastest way to make a property look maintained again.

The same team that mows your lawn handles your storm cleanup, leaf removal, and holiday lights. They know your property and your preferences.
Even on storm cleanups, I give you a number before I touch a branch. No surprise invoices when the work is done. Insurance documentation help on request.
I’ve been through enough Tampa Bay storm seasons to know what helps and what doesn’t. Here’s what I tell my customers before hurricane season starts.
Secure loose items. Trim dead or weak branches. Clear drainage paths. Turn off irrigation timer. Mow slightly shorter than usual — shorter grass handles wind better.
Wait 24–48 hours for standing water to recede and power to be restored. Don’t touch anything near downed power lines. Document damage with photos for insurance. Clear debris from grass within 3–5 days — anything left on turf that long will kill it underneath. Then call Tim.
Minor divots recover in 2–4 weeks. Salt spray damage needs deep watering to flush soil. Major bare areas may need re-sodding. Resume mowing when the lawn is dry enough to support equipment.
December–May is when I do preventive tree trimming, gutter clearing, and storm-prep walkthroughs for next year. Cheaper to fix in January than after the first June storm.
